The Denise Roberts Breast Cancer Foundation’s 10th Anniversary Founder’s Day Gala takes place at the world famous Conga Room - LA LIVE - on Sunday, October 18th, 2009.

The Cause: It is still true that 1 in 8 women in the U.S. will develop invasive Breast Cancer at some point in her life. It is still true that in 2009 about 1,910 new cases of invasive Breast
Cancer will be diagnosed among men in the United States. And, it is true that although African-American women are diagnosed with Breast Cancer less than Caucasian women, their mortality rate is still higher.

The Care: The Denise Roberts Breast Cancer Foundation vision is one that is comprised and deeply rooted in love, advocacy and action. Our mission is one that is avidly pursued by a community of minority women and men fighting Breast Cancer. On behalf of TDRBCF, we welcome your consideration and support to further our cause of saving the lives of men and women in under-served communities.

The Cure: The Denise Roberts Breast Cancer Foundation (TDRBCF) is dedicated to the research, treatment and cure of Breast Cancer. TDRBCF and its volunteers are committed to educating minority women and their families about breast health, early cancer detection, prevention, and healthcare or treatment options, with the ultimate goal of enhancing each survivor’s quality of life.
